Many new homes have been built on teardown sites, taking advantage of the larger lots in this area. Prices range from $700,000 for small colonials on the Eastern end, up to $2 million for newer, larger homes and McMansions.

Geographic Boundaries:
Jamaica Estates is subdivided into two areas, Jamaica Estates North which is bound by Cunningham Park to the East, Union Turnpike to the North, the Grand Central Parkway to the South and Utopia Parkway/Homelawn to the South. South Jamaica Estates is bound by 188th Street to the East, Utopia Parkway/Homelawn to the West, Grand Central Parkway to the North, and Hillside Avenue to the South.
